Terms of use

These terms are the agreement between you and UNF (“UNF”, “we”) for the UNF iPhone app and unfollowers.io. Using UNF means you accept them. If you do not, do not use the app.

1. What UNF is

UNF is an iPhone app that records what Instagram publicly publishes about a profile, about once a day, and builds reports from those dated records. It additionally reads an Instagram data export that you choose to provide, in order to produce connection sections such as mutuals and non-followers.

2. What UNF is not

This section is part of the agreement, not marketing. UNF does not and will not:

• ask for your Instagram password, or sign in to Instagram as you;
• read, store or display private Instagram content;
• report who viewed your profile or your story, which Instagram does not publish;
• name who unfollowed you from a single snapshot — that requires two sets of your own data taken at different times;
• operate in real time, or claim that an observed change “just happened”;
• change your Instagram privacy settings, or act on your account in any way.

A subscription grants access to features. It never creates data that Instagram does not publish and that you have not provided.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use UNF. If the law where you live sets a higher age for consenting to data processing, you must meet that age instead.

4. Your account and your data

You are responsible for the username you select and for any file you upload. By adding an Instagram data export you confirm it is your own, obtained from Instagram through their own download process. Do not upload another person’s data.

Selecting a profile does not prove you own it, and UNF records it as selected by you. UNF may remove a selection or a file if it is reported as belonging to someone else.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use UNF to harass, stalk, monitor or intimidate any person;
• use UNF to collect information about people who have not made that information public;
• attempt to access another user’s account, reports or files;
• reverse engineer, resell, or automate access to the service beyond ordinary personal use;
• use UNF in a way that breaks Instagram’s terms or any applicable law.

Track exists to follow public accounts you have a reason to follow. It is not a surveillance tool, and accounts used that way may be terminated.

6. Subscriptions and billing

• UNF Pro costs $4.99 per month or $29.99 per year. Prices are shown in your local currency by the App Store and may differ by region.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the period ending.
• Manage or cancel a subscription in the App Store, under your Apple ID account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under their terms. UNF cannot issue a refund for an App Store purchase.

7. Availability and changes

UNF depends on what Instagram publishes and on third-party providers. Public information may become unavailable, incomplete, or slow to retrieve, at any time and without notice. When that happens UNF reports the gap rather than filling it. Features may be added, changed, or switched off — including for operational reasons — and where a feature depends on a permission that has not been granted, it stays off and says why.

8. Accuracy

Every figure UNF shows is what a source reported at a stated moment. UNF does not guarantee that any figure is complete, current, or that a provider read it correctly. Do not treat a report as an authoritative record of your Instagram account.

9. Third-party services

UNF is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc. Instagram is a trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc. Your use of Instagram remains governed by Instagram’s own terms.

10. Intellectual property

The UNF app, its name, its design and its content belong to UNF. Your data remains yours; you grant UNF only the permission needed to store and process it in order to provide the features you use.

11. Termination

You may stop using UNF at any time and delete your account from Settings inside the app. UNF may suspend or terminate access for a breach of these terms, in particular section 5.

12. Disclaimers and liability

UNF is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, UNF is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from a third-party service being unavailable or returning incorrect information. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for UNF in the twelve months before the claim.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which UNF is operated, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in this section removes a consumer protection you have under the law of the country where you live.

14. Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the date at the top changes. Continuing to use UNF after that means the updated terms apply.
